Meet James
What started as weekend trips out of San Diego turned into a full-blown obsession. James Wie launched Tuna No Crust Fishing to document the grind — early mornings, long runs offshore, and the moments that make it all worth it when a bluefin decides to eat.
The name? A nod to the Fast & Furious franchise and a reminder that the best things in life don't need extra. No gimmicks, no shortcuts — just honest fishing, proven techniques, and gear that works when it matters.
From jigging deep for bluefin to surface iron on yellowtail, the channel covers it all. James tests every piece of gear he sells and shares what actually produces fish, not what looks good on a shelf.
